We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation and proven first-chair trial experience. This role requires a client-focused professional who can manage cases independently, deliver strategic legal guidance, and achieve favorable outcomes through negotiation and trial advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution
- Meet with clients to assess claims, explain legal strategy, and set expectations
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and insurance carriers
- Evaluate claims and develop effective litigation strategies
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations
- Prepare cases for trial, including discovery, depositions, and motions
- Serve as first-chair trial counsel in court
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure efficient case handling
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the New Jersey Bar
- 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- First-chair trial experienceStrong negotiation and case evaluation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
