Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its team in Manhattan, New York. The attorney will manage a diverse and complex caseload, including slip and fall, security negligence, wrongful death, and animal attack cases, from pre-litigation through trial.
Duties
- Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases daily.
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
- Guide clients through the case process.
- Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar Association.
- Minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience.
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in New York.
