Trial Attorney - Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
About The Opportunity
A respected California law firm is seeking a Trial Attorney to join its litigation team in Los Angeles, California . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain substantial courtroom experience while handling complex civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation cases from pre-litigation through trial.
- Serve as first or second chair in jury and bench trials.
- Conduct and defend depositions, including expert, corporate representative, and fact witness depositions.
- Draft and argue motions, including discovery, pre-trial, and post-trial motions.
- Prepare trial strategy, witnesses, exhibits, and courtroom presentations.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop litigation strategies.
- Mentor junior attorneys as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- Minimum 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Trial experience as first or second chair, or a strong desire to build a courtroom-focused practice.
- Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and case management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple litigation matters.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling consumer protection or complex civil litigation matters.
- Jury trial experience.
- Federal court litigation experience and/or admission to practice in federal court.

- Salary: $200,000-$300,000 annually (DOE).
