About the Opportunity
A respected California law firm is seeking a Trial Attorney to join its litigation team in Los Angeles, California . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain substantial courtroom experience while handling complex civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation cases from pre-litigation through trial.
• Serve as first or second chair in jury and bench trials.
• Conduct and defend depositions, including expert, corporate representative, and fact witness depositions.
• Draft and argue motions, including discovery, pre-trial, and post-trial motions.
• Prepare trial strategy, witnesses, exhibits, and courtroom presentations.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop litigation strategies.
• Mentor junior attorneys as needed.

Qualifications
Required

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum 2+ years of civil litigation experience .
• Trial experience as first or second chair, or a strong desire to build a courtroom-focused practice.
• Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and case management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple litigation matters.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling consumer protection or complex civil litigation matters.
• Jury trial experience.
• Federal court litigation experience and/or admission to practice in federal court.
