Connect Search is working with our client on a Non-Commercial Litigation Attorney! The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years of legal experience, with significant plaintiff-side injury litigation experience. Onsite located in Southeast Houston.
Responsibilities
- Managing 80-120 active cases from filing through resolution/trial
- Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable client outcomes.
- Oversee all phases of discovery, including written discovery, document review, and production.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and litigation efforts.
- Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, experts, and other attorneys to ensure effective case management.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Proven first-chair jury trial experience
- Strong plaintiff PI background with experience at established personal injury firms.
- Hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
