A well-established, close-knit personal injury law firm in downtown Conroe, Texas, is adding an experienced Trial Attorney to its team. THE ROLE

The Trial Attorney will play an important role in advancing plaintiff personal injury matters from litigation through resolution and trial. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to develop case strategy, prepare matters for trial, advocate for clients, and ensure files continue moving forward efficiently.

This position offers the opportunity to take on substantial responsibility while continuing to grow as a trial advocate and contributing to the firm's long‑term vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle plaintiff personal injury matters with a strong emphasis on client care, case strategy, and efficient file resolution.


• Lead and support trial preparation, including legal research, pleadings, motions, discovery, evidence, exhibits, and other trial materials.


• Participate in actual trials, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.


• Apply the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence in daily litigation practice.


• Develop practical case strategies and identify issues early so matters can continue moving forward.


• Communicate directly with clients and provide thoughtful legal guidance throughout their cases.


• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to advance cases and complete the firm's mission.


• Maintain high standards for legal writing, case preparation, organization, and client communication.


• Contribute ideas and solutions that improve processes, technology, and the client experience.


• Continue developing your litigation and trial skills through hands‑on experience, collaboration, and professional development.


• Participate in team‑building, charitable, and community activities that reflect the firm's commitment to strengthening the local community.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Exceptional legal writing skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.


• Experience working directly with the public , including at least five years of customer‑service experience.


• Experience with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.


• A demonstrated interest in trial work and trial advocacy , with a desire to participate meaningfully in actual trials.


• Strong judgment, initiative, organization, and attention to detail.


• A solutions‑oriented mindset and the ability to identify problems before they become larger issues.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• A genuine commitment to treating clients with compassion, dignity, and respect.

• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the firm's Conroe office.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE

• This is a fully in‑office position in Conroe, Texas.


• Business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Starting Salary: $150,000 , with potential for a higher salary based on experience and qualifications.

Attorney Bonus Compensation

The attorney compensation structure includes three potential components:
