The role: Altera is seeking a high‑energy Treasury Manager to join our growing team. This is a builder’s role—we are looking for someone who doesn’t just manage processes but actively seeks to automate them. You will be a key player in shaping our global treasury infrastructure, from liquidity forecasting to capital management and internal controls.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000 USD (Bay Area, California; actual salary may vary based on location, experience, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

• Liquidity & Forecasting: Develop and manage global cash flow forecasting to optimize liquidity and working capital.
• Capital Structure & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to debt covenants, manage investments, and credit facilities.
• Operations & Controls: Manage global bank accounts, KYC, FBAR reporting, and portal administration. Execute Treasury and intercompany settlements and cash pooling for funding global subsidiaries.
• Lead SOX compliance for Treasury and coordinate audit confirmations.
• Insurance & Claims Management: Support the annual corporate insurance renewal process, manage global portfolio and relationships with brokers and underwriters, ensure appropriate coverage limits, manage premium allocations, and coordinate claims filing and recovery.
• Automation & Dashboards: Lead projects to automate manual workflows and build real‑time Treasury dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. This role requires being onsite in San Jose 4 days per week.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, specifically in liquidity, forecasting, and bank account management.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong Excel modeling and data visualization skills.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a fix‑it mentality toward manual processes and high attention to detail.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle or another ERP and a Treasury Management System (TMS); certifications such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or MBA; background in a fast‑paced semiconductor or hardware technology environment.
