The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee the company’s treasury operations, cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective management of cash resources, supporting financial stability, and mitigating financial risk. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented finance professional with strong cash management expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and executive leadership.
Overview
The Treasury Manager plays a critical role in managing daily cash activities, liquidity planning, and treasury controls. This position develops and maintains cash flow forecasts, manages banking relationships, and ensures compliance with treasury policies and internal controls. In addition to operational treasury responsibilities, the role supports strategic initiatives including capital planning, financing activities, and process improvements that strengthen the company’s overall financial position.
A Day in the Life
- Manage daily cash positioning, liquidity, and short‑term cash forecasting
- Monitor cash balances across bank accounts to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs
- Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and liquidity models
- Optimize working capital and cash utilization across the organization
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions
- Support the administration of banking services, credit facilities, and treasury agreements
- Review and approve treasury‑related transactions including wires, ACH, and inter‑company transfers
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, authorization limits, and treasury policies
- Partner with Accounting to ensure proper recording and reconciliation of treasury activities
- Prepare treasury and cash flow reporting for leadership and executive review
- Analyze cash flow trends, risks, and opportunities to support business decision‑making
- Support financing activities, capital projects, and long‑term liquidity planning
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and documentation related to treasury operations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and risk management
- Support other finance and treasury initiatives as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or cash management
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, banking operations, and financial controls
- Experience managing banking relationships and treasury transactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Working knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range
$120,000 - $140,000/Year
