Position Description

The Treasury Manager will oversee the treasury operations and structure. Responsible for managing bank relationships and accounts, preparing cash reports, administering the company credit card program, and developing treasury procedures. Responsible for cash flow forecasting, managing liquidity, daily cash management, and compliance.

HLAs – HIGH LEVERAGE ACTIVITIES (focus actions that will return the highest impact):

  • Understand, manage and control all cash account transactions.
  • Develop treasury procedures for centralized office servicing dealership locations.
  • Lead in centralized cash management strategy and bank account strategy.

Key Responsibilities And Performance Measures

  • Oversee bank cash management daily activities and balances.
  • Manage the set-up of bank accounts, bank routing rules and ongoing bank account maintenance.
  • Work closely with banking institutions to mitigate fraud risk, settle discrepancies and assist with banking integrations.
  • Works closely with dealerships related to daily banking needs.
  • Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
  • Develop department capabilities and treasury workflow and procedures.
  • Maintain the company credit card program.
  • Responsible for ensuring daily liquidity (cash flow forecasting and operational cash management.)
  • Support and facilitate monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting for treasury functions.
  • Manage and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities considered.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 to 8 years treasury and accounting experience.
  • Experience with treasury software and systems preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and set priorities.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and implement preventive measures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
