Treasury AnalystGroup 1 Automotive is seeking a detailed-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to support the daily cash management activities in fast-paced Treasury operations.

The role plays a key part in optimizing liquidity, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining strong controls over treasury operations. The Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining the financial stability and liquidity of the organization while minimizing financial risks.The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting daily cash management activities and treasury operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls. This role partners closely cross-departmentally to support liquidity management, reporting, reconciliations, and treasury-related operational processes.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional looking to grow within a corporate treasury environment.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Director, Assistant Treasurer to ensure liquidity and funding requirements are delivered consistently with cash management strategiesMonitor daily cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to meet short-term and long-term obligationsOversee and/or initiate wire transfers, ACH payments, and bank transactionsPrepare and deliver treasury-related reports, including cash position summariesForecast cash requirements and prepare variance analyses for management reviewManage daily reconciliation process, research, and troubleshoot issues related to payments, bank transmissions, debt, investments, and other cash management related issues to ensure resolutionMaintain bank account documentation, authorized signatory records and legal documentation related to SOX requirements and FBAR regulationsAssist with bank account administration, including opening and closing bank accounts, and electronic user administrationRespond and manage Treasury mailbox inquiries related to field operationsAdhere to month-end and quarter-end schedules and processesProvide information in connection with the external and internal audits and monitor cash management activities to ensure complianceMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and internal reviewsReview bank account analysis statements monthly to ensure accuracy, identify errors, and resolve quicklyIdentify opportunities to automate treasury workflows, reduce bank fees, and enhance internal controlsMaintain policies and procedures related to functional responsibilitiesAssist in ad-hoc special projects related to all areas of TreasuryCross-train and serve as back-up for treasury teamStay informed of emerging technologies and best practices in treasury managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
