Travelling Project Director - Water/Wastewater

Location: Anywhere in Northwest Arkansas or Oklahoma City, OK, or Tulsa, OK
Salary: $140K-$170K base (salary depends on experience)

Leads new business development and project execution for water/wastewater projects across multiple markets. Builds client relationships with municipalities, utilities, and industrial clients, drives proposals and pursuits, and oversees projects from award through completion. Requires extensive travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifies and pursues new water/wastewater project opportunities; builds relationships with municipal, utility, and industrial clients and decision makers
• Tracks market trends and competitor activity; monitors client capital project pipelines
• Leads Go/No-Go evaluation, proposal development, and RFQ/RFP responses
• Negotiates contract terms and supports deal closure
• Oversees execution of awarded projects: budget, schedule, change orders, and client satisfaction
• Coordinates with PMs, superintendents, and field staff to resolve issues and keep projects on track
• Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on all assigned projects
• Keeps leadership informed on client relationships and project health

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years in water/wastewater design, construction, or business development (or equivalent experience)
• 10 + years of identifying opportunities
• Track record winning and managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects
• Strong grasp of municipal/utility procurement and contract law
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software
• Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and public boards

TRAVEL

Regular travel to project sites, client offices, and the company located throughout AR, OK, and KS
