This position requires approximately 90% travel, supporting plant operations, startups, troubleshooting, and coverage needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently in a variety of plant environments.Some of the work you will do:Plant OperationsConduct water sample testing to monitor plant performance and optimize operationsAdjust treatment processes (TSS, pH, turbidity, chemical feed rates) to meet system requirementsMaintain accurate logs and operational recordsMaintenance & TroubleshootingDiagnose and repair pumps, motors, drives, valves, and related equipmentPerform preventative maintenance and equipment inspectionsCalibrate mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systemsSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures, including PPE use, chemical handling, and emergency responsePerform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with site and company standardsCommunication & ReportingCommunicate issues, performance concerns, and updates clearly to operations leadership and customersUse digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Safety Culture, and other company systems) to document operational data, inspections, and performance metricsWhy This RoleWork across multiple plants and technologiesGain hands-on experience in varied operating environmentsPlay a critical role supporting operations across the regionHere are the skills that you need:High school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of related experience (operations, maintenance, or production)Ability to work independently at remote sites with minimal supervisionWillingness and ability to travel up to 90% of the timeAbility to work 12-hour shifts (2/2/3 or 7-on/7-off schedules)Valid driver's license with clean driving recordProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Must pass pre-employment drug screeningHere are the skills and qualifications that will set you apart:Experience in water/wastewater treatment operationsState wastewater operator certification (Georgia or ability to obtain)OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationPhysical RequirementsAbility to use a workstation using computer/phoneLifting will be involved (up to 50 lbs.)When at job sites or fabrication shops, will be required to inspect equipment.
