Traveling Superintendent

Perimeter Solutions Group is looking for a Traveling Superintendent to join our Energy Division, supporting projects across the U.S. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, PSG is a leading installer of perimeter fencing and gates for solar farms across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly and as-needed meetings with Project Managers to review project paperwork, current and upcoming projects, schedules, and production needs.
• Visit project sites and meet with client/customer representatives and site superintendents to review layouts, site readiness, scope of work, and project requirements.
• Act as the Site Safety Supervisor/Competent Person as required.
• Schedule, coordinate, and kick off crews assigned to specific projects.
• Problem-solve, troubleshoot, and support Crew Leaders throughout projects.
• Communicate field changes and scope revisions with Project Managers to facilitate change orders.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and quantity verifications on completed projects.
• Upload project notes and photos to project files.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel extensively. Projects are located across the Southeast U.S. and beyond. 5 weeks on / 1 week off is required.
• Company-provided vehicle, lodging, and per diem while traveling.
• Experience operating Lulls/telehandlers, forklifts, and skid steers for material handling, loading, and unloading.
• Valid driver's license; CDL strongly preferred.
• Leadership experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in fencing, civil, energy, utility, and/or general construction.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, including the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual skills or willingness to learn an additional language is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, problem-solve, adapt to changing conditions, and work effectively as part of a team.
