Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent
Location: Traveling (project assignments)
Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Per Diem + Bonus + Full Benefits
About the Company
An established commercial general contractor operating across multiple project pipelines, including retail centers, bank branches, restaurants, multi-family properties, and office buildings nationwide. Typical project values range from $5M to $50M.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the $120K–$150K range
- Vehicle allowance plus per diem covering hotels, meals, and related travel costs

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily field operations on commercial projects ranging from $5M–$30M, managing subcontractor schedules and coordination
- Partner with the project team on reviewing scope, planning site logistics, and ensuring safety compliance
- Monitor construction progress against project timelines and budget goals
- Serve as the main point of contact on-site, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the life of the project
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role within construction
- Direct, ground-up experience on commercial projects such as banks, retail centers, restaurants, or office buildings
- Solid planning skills with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage a field crew with minimal supervision
- Willing to travel to job sites on a regular basis, with home trips every 2–3 weeks
