What You ll Be Doing
Lead and oversee commercial structured cabling installations for large-scale projects, including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic systems.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and installation crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, riser diagrams, and cabling drawings to accurately plan and execute installations.
Perform termination, testing, labeling, troubleshooting, and certification of copper and fiber optic cabling using industry-standard test equipment.
Coordinate daily activities with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain schedules and resolve jobsite issues.
Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, documentation, and quality control throughout each project.
Must be willing and able to travel throughout Texas as project needs require, including occasional overnight travel and extended stays.
What You Bring to the Table
Proven experience leading commercial structured cabling projects and installation crews, with strong knowledge of copper and fiber optic systems.
Strong technical skills in CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A, fiber termination, testing, troubleshooting, labeling, and certification.
Ability to effectively lead crews, communicate with customers and contractors, read construction drawings, and keep projects on schedule.
Willingness to travel throughout Texas, with the flexibility to work on projects requiring overnight stays and extended travel.
Required to have OSHA 10 or 30 Construction certification.
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
