Our client, a leading commercial general contractor, is actively seeking a Traveling Superintendent I to oversee ground-up construction projects across the United States. While experience on data centers is highly preferred, candidates with backgrounds in industrial, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing, distribution, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, energy, or other technically complex commercial projects are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project logistics.
• Maintain project schedules and drive production milestones.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Lead daily jobsite activities and field coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers.
• Oversee punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project turnover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial construction projects
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for project assignments.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, site logistics, and subcontractor management.
• Experience with projects in one or more of the following sectors:
• Data Centers
• Mission Critical Facilities
• Industrial Manufacturing
• Distribution Centers
• Semiconductor Facilities
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Energy or Infrastructure Projects
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
