Job Summary
Cedar Rapids, Iowa X‑Ray Technologist. This position requires a qualified professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing various equipment, including Phillips, Carestream, GE OEC, and Siemens Cysto systems. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The shift involves overnight hours, beginning at 11:30 PM and ending at 4:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role requires at least 15 months of X‑ray experience, with specific competency in operating‑room environments preferred.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12‑hour rotating shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification, current/recent operating‑room competency/experience, at least 15 months of X‑ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting, Iowa radiology license highly preferred (must apply if non‑licensed), active American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross BLS, valid driver’s license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Carestream portable equipment experience, GE OEC c‑arm experience, Siemens Cysto experience, experience with fluoro procedures, current Iowa/IDPH state permit highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Must be comfortable being the sole overnight technician from 11:30 PM to 4:00 AM, working 1‑2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. Candidates should have a skills checklist specific to X‑Ray discipline.
