American Traveler is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2-3 years of OB sonography experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification to perform high-risk pregnancy imaging.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum of 2-3 years of OB ultrasound experience (2 years acceptable with relevant OB background)
- Current BLS certification required
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification required, ARDMS FE certification preferred
- CA license required if applicable
- Prior travel assignment experience required
Responsibilities
- Outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine setting focused on high-risk pregnancies from 1st to 3rd trimester
- Performs NT scans, 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles, detailed level II scans, twin/triplet scans, umbilical artery doppler, middle cerebral artery doppler, and transvaginal scans
- Patient ratio of 1:9
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM with variable days
- Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures to support diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of high-risk pregnancies
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Only one holiday may be requested off per contract, with holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Candidates may only apply to one facility within the health system at a time
