Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Cardiac Sonographer) position in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves performing advanced cardiac ultrasound studies, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echos, and Dobutamine Stress Echos. The position requires a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced, high-quality laboratory environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography, national certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or related certification (CCT, ACS) through CCI, BLS certification, and current licensure if applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, experience with stress echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo studies.
• Additional Information: The department is equipped with Philips and GE ultrasound equipment, and utilizes EPIC electronic medical records. Support within the department includes a dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Educator and a Chief Sonographer. The environment emphasizes patient/family-focused, high-quality care in a busy academic setting, with both portable and in-lab studies. Satellite site coverage within the Wake Region may be involved. Scrub attire includes Barney purple tops, black pants or skirts, and optional warm-up jackets. Parking is assigned and free.
