Job Description
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse in the Med Surg / Telemetry specialty for a 13‑week, 36‑hour per week assignment in Onancock, VA. The shift is 12 hours, nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care.
- Monitor and adjust specialized telemetry equipment and interpret electronic displays.
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members.
- Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptoms.
Qualifications
- BLS certification.
- 2 years recent acute care experience.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for long periods.
- Capable of lifting 20 pounds comfortably; may need to lift patients up to 50 pounds.
- Vision skills: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
