Travel Telemetry RN - $2,565 per week

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardio Thoracic care within an acute setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care for patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, COPD, and post-lung surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in EKG interpretation and medication titration, and possess strong nursing skills.

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Days: Saturday/Sunday, Nights: Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
• Holiday Rotation: Required
• Floating: Required to float to other general medical units
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
• Location: Illinois

• Provide direct patient care to Cardio Thoracic patients
• Perform EKG interpretations and medication titration
• Manage patients with pacemakers, AICDs, and chest tubes
• Troubleshoot and interpret tele monitors
• Administer and titrate drips such as Cardizem and heparin

Required:

• Active IL RN license or initiation of application process
• BLS certification
• EKG interpretation skills
• Experience with medication titration

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
