Shift: Days 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience
• 5 years preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• ASN required
• BSN preferred
• Active NJ RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS - AHA
• NIHSS
• Telemetry Certification / Telemetry Competency Exam
• ACLS listed as required in the schedule notes
• English proficiency required

• Telemetry monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Management of non-titratable IV drips
• Patient assessment and ongoing monitoring
• Recognition of changes in cardiac status
• Medication administration and therapeutic nursing interventions
• Development and implementation of individualized care plans
• Accurate nursing documentation
• Patient education and advocacy
• Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
