Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,140 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neuro Telemetry located in Phoenix, Arizona. The position involves providing high‑quality patient care on a neuro and telemetry unit with a required 12‑hour daytime shift schedule. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Shift: Days, 12‑hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• Schedule: 12‑hour day shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week; four weekend shifts required every 8‑week period; holidays included in permanent rotation
• Provide patient care on a neuro and telemetry unit with a bed capacity of 32 and patient diagnoses including tracheostomy, cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psychiatric issues, and brain tumors.
• Titrate drips such as heparin, amiodarone, cardizem, and insulin.
• Support bedside reporting and float to overflow telemetry units and ICU.
• Utilize central monitoring and collaborate with IV team and pharmacy (24/7).

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; neuro experience highly preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Ability to interpret electrocardiograms (EKG).
• Willingness to wait for license submission if not yet active.
• Preferred: Neuro‑specific experience and familiarity with Cerner.
