Job Summary

Telemetry assignment on a day shift in an acute care setting. The role provides care for adult patients with telemetry, stroke-related telemetry, and cardiac medication needs. The position includes a 12-hour schedule, weekend rotation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary support staff.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; nursing license eligibility; demonstrated skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, nasal cannula use, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care and management, and telemetry.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend rotation, including Saturday and Sunday, with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
• Additional Information: Adult patient population with an average daily census of 27 and a 5:1 patient ratio during the day. Clinical responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, care for patients with telemetry-related stroke diagnoses, cardiac medication management, and use of interdisciplinary support services.
