Schedule
Rotating shifts including Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), anticipated in a 6-week schedule with 3 weeks of each shift type.
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in a telemetry unit to deliver high-quality patient care. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment, managing a diverse patient population primarily experiencing respiratory and cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on telemetry.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management.
Required Experience, Certifications, Licensure
- Current PA or Compact RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with charge experience preferred.
- Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
- Ability to float to other areas as needed.
