MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Tucson, Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities

As part of the telemetry unit, Telemetry Nurses (RN) provide care by connecting patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood-oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information. The data is communicated to computer screens for monitoring and interpretation. Nurses read and interpret the data to determine patient care needs.

• Provide care for patients by comfortably connecting them to monitoring machines.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess potential health problems and needs.
• Develop nursing care plans and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care telemetry setting.
• Other requirements as determined by the facility.
