Travel Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Scrub Tech)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Hawaii. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of independently scrubbing a wide variety of surgical procedures while supporting a fast‑paced and efficient operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong multi‑specialty surgical experience, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to respond to call requirements in a dynamic peri‑operative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Independently scrub and assist during a variety of surgical cases.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instrumentation and supplies.
- Assist with operating room turnover and cleaning between cases.
- Transport patients when necessary.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Participate in on‑call rotation as required.
Qualifications
Required- Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital operating room setting.
- Active Hawaii Surgical Technologist credential/license if required by state regulations prior to assignment start.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
- Ability to independently scrub multiple surgical specialties.
- Experience with robotic surgical procedures.
- Endoscopy experience.
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient surgical environments.
