Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with orthopedic, general surgery, and robotics experience for a busy hospital operating room.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology, and neuro required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required, with state license if applicable
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• 10-OR surgical suite within a 330-bed hospital
• Staffed by RNs, surgical techs, and unit assistants on day shift, with a call team on nights
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Utilizes DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump
• Altera EMR used for documentation
• Performs orthopedic, robotic, gyn, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic crani/neuro procedures
• 13-week assignment with scheduled shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• No floating required
• Support surgical teams across a variety of ortho, robotic, gyn, uro, and vascular procedures
• Neuro experience preferred to support call coverage needs
• Facility provides OR scrub attire
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, with no local candidates accepted
• One professional reference required for consideration
