Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring experience in orthopedics, robotics, and general surgery.
Job Details
• Hospital OR unit with 10 operating rooms and staff of 50+,
• Day shift RNs, STs, and UAs with a night shift call team,
• 1:1 patient ratios,
• Equipment includes DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump,
• Altera EMR system used,
• 10-hour day shifts scheduled 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM,
• No floating required,
• Assigned stay-late call during the week and occasional Friday/Saturday overnight call,
• PRN holiday coverage required,
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required,
• Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology, and neuro required,
• Neuro experience preferred, needed for call coverage,
• License required if applicable,
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential and state licensure as required,
• BLS certification required,
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start,
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• Perform typical procedures including ortho, robotics, gyn, uro, vascular, endovascular, and basic crani/neuro cases,
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team-oriented culture,
• Scrubs provided by the facility,
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration, Canadian SSN not accepted,
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
