Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Scrub Technologist with current OR experience for a hospital surgical services position.

Details

• Hospital-based operating room setting handling scheduled and emergency surgical cases
• Monday-Thursday, 10-hour day shifts, full time
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Current OR experience is essential
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current ORT certification required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active state license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for safe, sterile setup and handling of all surgical instrumentation
• Gathers necessary instrumentation and supplies per surgeon pick sheets
• Handles pressure assignments, clerical duties, and other department-related tasks as needed
• Communicates effectively with department personnel, hospital staff, medical staff, and sales and repair representatives
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and supports the organization's mission, vision, and values
