Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist with strong Level 1 trauma center experience for a high-acuity inner-city hospital.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of strong Level 1 trauma center experience, clearly reflected in work history
• Strong ratings required on skills checklist matching this specialty
• Active license required, if applicable
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Responsibilities

• 10-hour day shifts, 6:45am-5:15pm, fixed schedule
• 4 shifts per week with rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per month required)
• Call, holiday, and weekend coverage required
• No block scheduling available
• Position based in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases
• Candidates must demonstrate proven success in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases is essential
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates
