Job Summary: The Scrub Technician is responsible for providing safe care for patients in accordance with established standards and practices. This role involves constant interaction with patients, families, physicians, employees, and visitors. Key responsibilities include assisting in patient care coordination, implementing patient care, maintaining asepsis, performing scrubbing duties, and ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of equipment. The Scrub Technician also acts as a clinical preceptor and supports teamwork within the department.
Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist educational program or an approved Surgical Technology training program through a U.S. Military Training Program
• NBSTSA-Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• BLS certification
• CVOR experience
