Job Responsibilities

• Displays aseptic technique in performance of surgical duties to ensure positive patient outcome.
• Demonstrates responsibility for the care, preparation, handling and maintenance of surgical instrumentation.
• Consistently performs sponge, sharps and instrument counts according to policy and procedure.
• Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to professional standards of practice.

Required Skills & Experience

• Two (2) years of Surgical Tech experience.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS.
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist).
