Position: Travel Surgical Tech
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Days (8-hour shifts)
Auto Offer Available
EMR: EPIC (Recent experience within the last 12 months required)
What You'll Do
Assist surgeons during a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile field throughout each case.
Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies before surgery.
Perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse.
Assist with room turnover and instrument preparation.
Required Qualifications
CST or TS-C Certification (Required)
BLS Certification
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Recent EPIC experience (within the last 12 months)
Ability to take call and float to affiliated Adventist Health surgery locations as needed

Call & Floating
On-call: Minimum 1 weekday call/week and 1 weekend call every 6-week schedule
