Registered Nurse - IMCU Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 12 hours on a 4-day work schedule.

Job Description

The IMCU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive emergency, Respiratory failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, and Encephalopathy. The nurse will administer Heparin Drips and work in an environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous nursing care in the IMCU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
