Requirements

• Experience: 1 year
• Skills: MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Telemetry (unit & remote monitoring), interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code team use, IV insulin protocols, colostomy care, feeding tube care, continuous bladder irrigation, renal failure, blood product administration, peripheral/IV care (PICC, starting IVs, heparin, insulin, PCA), surgical drains, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of ABGs, nasal cannula, non‑invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen administration/tanks, tracheostomy care, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.
• Certifications: CPI, NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Missouri license or Compact license (Quick License State application < 2 weeks)
• Previous Charge Nurse Experience: None
