Travel Staff Pharmacist - Jackson, Wyoming

An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support a 49-bed hospital in Jackson, WY, on an 8-week travel assignment with a possible extension. This role is critical to maintain pharmacy operations while covering for staff on extended leave.

Location:

• Jackson, Wyoming

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 6:15 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:15 AM to 12:00 PM (on-call after hours)
• Current staff schedule consists of 10-hour shifts with one weekend per month; flexible interim scheduling available (e.g., 7 days on/7 days off).

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services with minimal training required.
• Utilize Cerner and Pyxis systems effectively to ensure accurate medication dispensing and management.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy director and remaining pharmacy staff to maintain seamless operations.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Wyoming pharmacist license.
• Minimum of two years inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Strong proficiency with Cerner and Pyxis systems.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• One managerial reference validating your experience and professionalism.
