American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an inpatient rehab position at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Sioux City, IA, with new grads welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Active state SLP license required if applicable
- Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military also accepted)
- New grads welcome to apply
- Mandatory reporter certification required
- Valid driver's license required
- Skills checklist specific to SLP discipline required
- Supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required
- At least one completed travel contract preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit at a Level 3 Trauma Center
- Day shift, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 5x8s (4x10s possible)
- Weekend work is voluntary
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Compact license accepted
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide and manage patient care within scope of practice
- Two of three winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving) must be worked
- Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods in late November and December
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates are accepted
- Past UnityPoint Health employees, whether FTE or PRN float pool, are restricted from working travel assignments in other markets within 12 months of separation, unless previously employed as a UPH traveler
