Requirements
- Active Illinois SLP license required, if applicable
- 2+ years of recent experience in the specialty required
- 2 years of relevant setting experience required
- AHA certifications only, as required for the position
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
- 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years)
Responsibilities
- Inpatient setting located within the main hospital
- Performs video swallow studies, bedside swallow evaluations, and dysphagia management
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
- No weekend or on‑call requirements
- Uses Cerner EMR for documentation
- Provides comprehensive dysphagia management including bedside and instrumental swallow evaluations
- May float within scope to similar units as needed
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions
- Requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration
