Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in Illinois (or eligible for IL licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working with high school populations and/or within school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with current IEP processes and speech-language therapy methodologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in grades 9-12
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines
  • Provide both direct and consultative services within the school environment
