Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, and communication services for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric populations. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a collaborative healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders while delivering patient-centered care and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals, clinical findings, and patient goals.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret diagnostic testing results.
  • Provide treatment for patients with developmental, cognitive, neurological, emotional, and physical disabilities.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and program development activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA.
  • Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MBS/VFSS and FEES procedures.
  • Experience treating pediatric and adult patient populations.
  • Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation experience.
  • Strong interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills.
