What You'll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support resident outcomes
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
• Complete accurate and timely documentation and billing
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility
• CFY candidates and new graduates encouraged to apply
• VitalStim certification preferred (not required)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred but not required
