American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a long-term care facility, requiring 2+ years of SLP experience and a TX license.

• Long-term care nursing center setting with 102 beds under hospital district ownership
• Speech Language Pathology unit
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license accepted

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• Valid TX SLP license required if applicable
• License required if applicable

• Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
• Implement communication strategies to help residents be better understood and understand others
• Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Ensure care and services align with established facility policies and procedures
