Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient position in McMinnville, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized inpatient speech therapy services within a full-service, acute-care facility. The position is essential for supporting patient communication and swallowing needs, contributing to comprehensive patient care.
Job Details:
Schedule: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Shift, Weekly guaranteed hours: 40 hours.
Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Speech Language Pathologist, current licensure for the state of Oregon, at least 1 year of experience in inpatient settings, and the ability to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience with diverse patient populations or specialized certifications in inpatient speech therapy.
Float: Float rotation may be required within a 25-mile radius of the facility.
Additional Information: Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be located at least 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered. The facility is a 60-bed acute-care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized as an accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC Accreditation Services. The unit provides inpatient speech therapy services for adult patients, supporting recovery from neurological, surgical, or medical conditions affecting communication and swallowing.
