Travel We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
for a
13-week travel assignment
at a healthcare facility. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapy professional to expand their clinical skills while working in a new healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs and outcomes Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home programs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, OTs, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate Provide recommendations for continued therapy or follow-up services when needed Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, independence, and quality of life Requirements
Required:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Required:
Active
SLP license
in the state of assignment or ability to obtain Preferred:
Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting Preferred:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and patient populations Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer
