Job Summary:Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Outpatient | Hillsville, Virginia. This full-time position involves providing evidence-based speech therapy services to a diverse outpatient population. The role includes performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance communication, cognitive, and swallowing functions. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and patient-centered environment.Job Details:Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per weekRequired Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); CPR certification or willingness to obtain; strong communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care; new graduates and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to applyPreferred Qualifications: None specifiedAdditional Information: Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized plans of care. Assess and treat communication, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills, cognitive function, and overall quality of life. Collaborate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and team members to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment strategies, home programs, and techniques to support continued progress. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes utilizing Scribe AI-powered technology and the Raintree electronic medical record platform.
