Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations across modalities including vascular, abdomen, AAA, breast, OB, and pediatric ultrasound; conduct biophysical profiles as indicated
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment and document results in the Epic EMR; ensure images meet quality and protocol standards
• Prepare patients, position for exams, apply appropriate transducer techniques, and provide safe, compassionate patient care
• Identify and communicate notable findings to the interpreting radiologist or physician, and assist with patient education and follow-up as needed
• Maintain equipment and infection control standards; participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required
• Assist with charting, labeling, and proper documentation of studies; support departmental workflow and quality assurance initiatives

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required and must be listed on profile at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience
• Some pediatric ultrasound experience required
• Experience with EPIC EMR and GE ultrasound equipment preferred
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient imaging settings
