Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced Travel Cable Technicians for an extensive travel opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data equipment.
Job Overview:
- Plenty of overtime - 50-60+ hours per week!
- Per diem 7 days a week for meal and lodging
- Paid mileage up to 500 miles. Anything over 500 will need approval.
- Long term opportunity
- Access control, CCTV cameras, intrusion, readers, etc.
- Ability to work off a scissor/boom lift
- 3+ years experience installing security systems in a commercial environment.
- Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT 6 in large commercial environments
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
- Assisting with security system installations
- Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
