Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide advanced wound care treatments, including dressing changes and debridement support
- Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and care techniques
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements
- Active RN license (Arizona or compact state)
- Certification required: CWS (Certified Wound Specialist) or WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent wound care experience
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
