American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least 12 months of applicable experience.
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in the applicable position
- BSN preferred
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE); diploma, Associate's, and BSN graduates accepted
- Professional references and license verification required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
- 13-week assignment length
- Scheduling limited to 40 hours per week unless approved by the unit manager
- Facility is a drug and tobacco free workplace
- Smoking is not permitted on campus
- Facility follows a natural nail policy
- Travelers must not have been employed by this health system within the previous six months
- Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of consideration, as holidays are not guaranteed off
